Eligibility Criteria for Positions at Federal Board of Revenue FBR

1. Procurement Specialist-II

  • Education:
    Master’s Degree (16 years of education) in Business Management, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or Social Sciences. Degrees in Procurement Management, Project Management, or Supply Chain are also accepted.
  • Experience:
    • At least 10 years of experience in procurement, including the last 7 years with a proven track record of successfully managing procurement for goods, works, and services.
    • Experience working at the national or international level.
    • Familiarity with procurement policies and guidelines, especially those of the World Bank.
    • Experience with World Bank’s procurement system (STEP) or other ERP tools is required.
    • Knowledge of government systems, particularly public procurement, is important.

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance, preferably in managing financial and administrative systems for large projects.
    • Experience working with international organizations will be an added advantage.
    • Knowledge of managing finances, grants, and administrative oversight is important.
  • Skills Required:
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team.
