The Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA) is working on a special project called “Heritage & Urban Regeneration in Lahore: Tourism Development in Lahore Fort and its Buffer Zone”. This project is being funded by Agence Française de Développement (AFD) and the Government of Punjab. The goal of this project is to continue the conservation work of WCLA in Lahore Fort, connect the fort with the Walled City, and provide new amenities for tourists to enhance their experience.
To make this project a success, a Project Management Unit (PMU) has been set up under WCLA.
